  • Dog: toxic

About the plant

The snake plant comes from western Africa, and botanists now count it as a Dracaena. Its stiff, upright leaves store water, so it puts up with dry air, shade and rare watering.

Temperature
12–30 °C
Feeding
April to September, every 6 weeks
Repotting
every 3 years, in spring
Grown

The usual mistake is overwatering: water only once the soil is dry to the bottom. Keep water out of the leaf rosette.

This is a rough guide for a flat in Poland. In flowers every plant also has its own watering interval, which learns from how the soil was.
