Lilies
Lilium
- Cat: toxic
- Dog: not toxic
- Light: bright, no harsh sun
About the plant
Lilies smell strongest in the evening, and one stem opens its buds over many days. The pollen stains fabric for good, so the anthers are pinched out as soon as a flower opens. For a cat the lily is deadly: in a home with a cat, better choose another bouquet.

The ASPCA entry is for the Easter lily (Lilium longiflorum); other true lilies (Lilium) and daylilies (Hemerocallis) are as dangerous to cats.
If a cat or a dog ate this plant and shows signs, contact a vet straight away.
Instead: safe for cats and dogs

This is a rough guide for a flat in Poland. In flowers every plant also has its own watering interval, which learns from how the soil was.
