Gerberas

Gerbera jamesonii

  • Cat: not toxic
  • Dog: not toxic
  • Light: bright, no harsh sun

About the plant

The gerbera comes from South Africa and looks like a large, colorful daisy. Its thick stem rots easily, so the vase is filled only a few centimetres deep and the water changed often. Non-toxic to cats and dogs, a good choice for a home with animals.

This is a rough guide for a flat in Poland. In flowers every plant also has its own watering interval, which learns from how the soil was.
