About the plant

Chrysanthemums come from China, where they were grown over two thousand years ago, and in Japan they are the emperor's flower. In Poland they belong to November, though as cut flowers they are sold all year. In a vase they are among the longest lasting: in a cool spot up to three weeks.

Split or cut the woody stems at an angle and strip the lower leaves: they are what spoils the water. In a cool spot they last up to three weeks.

This is a rough guide for a flat in Poland. In flowers every plant also has its own watering interval, which learns from how the soil was.
